Naval Architecture
The mission of the Filsona/NAMARES is to help students & graduates to have a sound understanding of marine vessels and the engineering methods necessary for life-long contributions to the Navy and Marine Corps, government, and industry in the analysis, design, construction, and operation of complex marine systems. This mission reflects the fact that our fellow craft will serve in technically-demanding jobs, on or under the sea, during their naval careers. In addition, many will continue later in civilian life in engineering or engineering management careers.
In concert to be of sevice with our fellow naval achitects Filsona/NAMARES has established this site for every member's success.
Mission Statement
Philippine Student Organization of Naval Architects
(filsona) was organized on June 2006 to represent Naval Achitects. The principal object of filsona is to regulate relations between members and their employers.
The mission of Filsona are:
To promote employment opportunities as well as good industrial relations.
To assist and encourage local Naval Achitects to retrain and upgrade themselves for a competitive employment market.
To help and ensure all Naval Achitects, including foreign Naval Achitects, receive their just reward for their hard work
